Connexa is a curated social directory where every profile is reviewed before going live. Unlike traditional apps, we focus on quality over quantity - you browse real, verified profiles and send connection requests to people you're genuinely interested in.
Browsing profiles on Connexa is completely free. You can view profiles, read bios, and see photos without paying anything. To send a connection request, you'll need to use a spark (our credit system), which you can purchase in the app.
Sparks are credits you use to send connection requests on Connexa. Each connection request costs one spark. If your request is declined or cancelled, your spark is refunded back to your account. You can buy sparks in packs of 1, 3, or 5.
When you find someone you're interested in, you can send them a connection request along with a short message. This costs one spark. The other person can then accept or decline your request. If they accept, you'll both be able to see each other's contact details and continue the conversation outside of Connexa.
If your connection request is declined or cancelled, your spark is automatically refunded to your account. You only permanently spend a spark when someone accepts your request and contact details are exchanged.
To get listed, you need to apply through our application form. You'll be asked to upload photos, write a bio, and share some basic information about yourself. Our team reviews every application to maintain the quality of our directory. Adding your Instagram significantly improves your chances of approval.
We aim to review applications within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your application has been reviewed, whether it's approved or if we need you to make any changes.
Applications are typically rejected for incomplete profiles, low-quality photos, or content that doesn't meet our community guidelines. If your application is rejected, you can update your profile and resubmit. The most common reason is not including enough clear photos of yourself.
Sparks are automatically refunded when a connection request is declined or cancelled. For purchased sparks that haven't been used, please refer to our Refund and Credits Policy for full details on our refund process.
If you encounter any concerning behaviour, you can report a user directly from their profile or through our Safety and Reporting page. Our team reviews every report and takes appropriate action to keep the community safe.
Yes. Your contact details are never shared publicly. They are only revealed when both you and another person mutually agree to connect. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes, you can update your profile at any time from your dashboard. Changes to photos or significant profile edits may require re-approval to maintain our quality standards.
Connexa is a social directory, not a swiping app. Every profile is manually reviewed, so you know the people you're browsing are real and genuine. There's no endless swiping - you browse curated profiles and reach out to people you're actually interested in. The spark system means every connection request is intentional.
You need to create a free account to browse profiles. However, you don't need to apply to be listed unless you want your own profile to appear in the directory. You can browse and send connection requests without being listed yourself.
